It’s been nearly six whole years since Anchorage last released The Sacrifice, but now this 4.45 Untappd and 4.49 Tavour-rated brew is back and looking to be better than ever!

Gabe Fletcher and his team crafted this edition with a rich Imperial Stout base. Then they aged it in Hemingway Rye barrels for 28 months before the crew conditioned the brew on toasted and raw coconut. 

We’re looking forward to decadent notes of dark chocolate-dipped macaroons in every velvety quaff. Fudgy cocoa tinged by intricate whispers of dark cherry and caramel should swirl around silky coconut cream on the way to a toasty, nutty finish. Expect lingering whiskey spice to give the taste a warming finish that hints at the 18.11% ABV. 

You could savor these sumptuous chocolate-and-tropical tones now or cellar it to enjoy later. Either way, when you pop a bottle, you’re in for a memorable evening!
