A Note on This Beer
Tavour started in Seattle, so we’ve been drinking Fremont Brewing’s hop heavy creations from the very beginning. We join the raucous crowds on release days, hang out in the brewery’s beer garden on sunny afternoons, and can even grab fresh six-packs at our local corner store.
Sure, it’s great for us, but what about our hop-loving cohorts in the rest of the country? You deserve a taste of Fremont’s lupulin elixir, too!
That’s why we’ve snagged a few cans of The Sister Imperial IPA -- to give you the chance to drink like a true Seattle hophead! Because when it comes to intensely flavorful West Coast-style hopbombs, Fremont is a PNW legend. And judging by their enormous catalog of 4+ rated IPAs, they still do it better than just about anyone!
The Sister is an excellent example of Fremont’s skill and experience coming together in a single beer. Aromas of mango and dank papaya titillate the senses from the moment this golden-hued IPA splashes into your glass. Massive additions of Calypso, Mosaic, Ekuanot, and Amarillo Hops create a kaleidoscope of huge character from resinous pine to grapefruit peel. It’s got all the flavors a hophead looks for in a brew!
Fremont’s been a go-to spot for Seattle’s craft faithful for a full decade now, and we still find ourselves going back again and again. We’re beyond lucky to have such a fantastic brewery right in our own backyard, and today we’re spreading that luck around by sharing a taste of our hometown hop heroes with all of you.
