About This Beer
Certain things just never go out of style — think denim jeans, classical architecture, and of course, Abbey-style Ales. Which is why the crew at Grimm made this Belgian Dubbel as an homage to their favorite Trappist brew, Orval. Turns out, they DO still make ‘em like they used to!
To keep the flavor authentic, the brewers utilized the Brettanomyces yeast, more commonly known as Brett, creating delicate funky layers of dark fruit and wildflower.
Tasting Notes
Each sip swells with gorgeous notes of dried figs and a subtle honey sweetness, all held together by rich undercurrents of biscuity malt. The finish is ultra-clean, with a barnyard blast of Brett minerality.
