Today’s The Works Imperial Stout is the adult version of the mountainous, “all of the fixin’s” ice cream sundae you’ve only DREAMT about. Just look at this grocery list of lavish ingredients:

Daily Corona battle. Crazy sweet, super nutty, touch of berry jam on the finish. I always want more nuttiness, but this definitely scratches that itch. Lots of nutty.

The description of this had me so excited, I was sure that I’d be let down by the anticipation. I was not disappointed. It tastes like a dessert with all the stated flavors shining wildly. That said, it is a sweeter flavor profile, so prepare yourself accordingly before trying. This is one of my favorites and I’ll order the max allowed when it comes back.

Nose is 100% Peanut Butter Cup! If I try really hard, I can detect every flavor. Super sweet, with that roasty bitter peanut butter. This is my third helping of this beer and it’s always been good. Solid pastry stout, just let it warm. I’d like to see it in BA.
