A Note on This Beer
I suspect life in the big city might be taking a toll on head brewer Jeppe, because today’s juicebomb IPA from Evil Twin is about the most ‘New York’ thing ever.
Just look at the name: THEY SAY THERE ARE A BILLION STARS IN THE NIGHT SKY BUT I’VE NEVER SEEN THEM.
As you may know, New Yorkers love to talk about how they can’t see the stars from the city, because it allows them to humble-brag about living in a teeming metropolis while simultaneously complaining about the very same thing.
Plus, it’s written on the can in all capital letters, so you have to scream it. How New York is that?
But hey, if these are signs of Jeppe’s slow descent into Big Apple madness, I’m okay with that. As long as he keeps producing Hazy IPAs like this!
Double dry-hopped with a whole universe of Cashmere and Galaxy Hops, this beauty shines with sparkles of fresh squeezed OJ, tangy lime, and tropical passionfruit. And the fluffy body is so pillowy soft, you’ll never see the big 9% ABV coming!
These cans do have one important thing in common with the stars above Manhattan: they’re mighty tough to find. Luckily, we have a stash to share with all of you stargazers out there.
This beer is too new for ratings!
