About This Beer
The crew crafted this comforting sipper using the finest English malts, creating a smooth body and robust flavor profile.
Tasting Notes
Notes of fig and raisin wrap around the taste buds like a warm hug. Rich and roasty nuances carry underneath, with ribbons of coffee and caramel gently accentuating the malts. It finishes dry for the style, leaving barely any trace of the boozy 15% ABV.

It tastes like a new Castle brown ale with hops and a slight fig taste, very disappointed. Very hoppy.

Not sweet or fruity, just tastes like coffee

the hygge reference feels very ironic, super roasty and decidedly bitter. very in your face, not so much comfortable. I'm a big ET fan, but found this one over the top. 20 years ago I could see calling this a barelywine, but today it feels way off style. the one exemplary thing about this beer is it doesn't taste anywhere close to 15%. everything else was a disappointment.

Rich, bitter cocoa on the palate with plenty of roasty malt. Not too sweet, and definitely boozy without too much alcohol heat. There’s something about this beer that’s really interesting.

I don’t know if Tavour got a bad batch, because ratings on Untapped were stellar, but this is totally undrinkable. it’s so incredibly bitter - more like soap or something than hops.
