About This Beer
To craft it, the Reubens crew started with a richly complex base brewed with multiple types of rye. Then they aged it in whiskey barrels for luxurious woody accents.
Tasting Notes
Cofounder Adam describes this decadent dram as “a liquified ROLO,” and we couldn’t agree more! Each sip teems with opulent malt-driven caramel notes. Hints of dark chocolate and candied fig course just underneath, leading to a rye spice and vanilla oak-soaked finish!

Sweet caramel and brown sugar develops into fig, tart cherry and plum, finish is slight umami and spicy rye bourbon.

excellent flavor profile. rye spice comes off as a cinnamon-like heat. blends well with the malty toffee and maple flavors. very good barleywine

Big aroma of caramel, rye, & whiskey w/some dark fruit in background. All rye spiciness & whiskey in taste. Caramel sweetness is there but taking a back seat.
