A Note on This Beer
When you need your car fixed, you see a mechanic. When you need a new pair of shoes, you go shopping.
So, why would you reach for a big and boozy beer when you need to crush your thirst?
Right, you wouldn’t. You’re smarter than that. You know, if you want a job done right, you gotta get the right tools.
And when it comes to quenching the thirst of Missouri’s craft fans, Crane Brewing is the Black and Decker of getting the job done.
These craft beer heroes of Kansas City were among just 22 breweries selected for GABF’s prestigious beer and food pairing event last year. AND their brews have received praise from everyone from Wine Enthusiast Magazine, Men’s Journal, and even Forbes.
What’s their go-to tool for tackling thirst? The easy-drinking Thundergong.
This handy-dandy Hoppy Wheat Ale tastes like Blue Moon and Grapefruit Sculpin had a baby — but better! It’s smooth-sipping, zesty, and hopped up to high heaven with citrusy flavors. And, to Untappd fans like @Nick A., Thundergong it’s simply an “Absolute crusher.”
It’s awash in juicy-berry goodness from Belma Hops, complemented by the pithiness of real orange peel. Grapefruit Sculpin doesn’t have the mouthwatering fruity flavor that Thundergong’s got. And Blue Moon’s malty, orange-zested pour doesn’t stand a chance against this brew’s light, biscuity body.
Thundergong swims with so many layers of flavor that once you’ve touched one sip to your thirsty lips, you won’t be able to stop until the job’s done!
Don’t get caught fumbling to slake a thirsty palate with a bunch of boozebombs — you’ll get about as far as I do when I’m trying to fix the kitchen sink without a plumber’s kit (yeah, not pretty).
Grab a stash of Thundergong so you can keep on sippin’ like you know what you’re doing!
