Chicago mad beer scientists at Illuminated are sure to make Willy Wonka -- and a few beer collectors-- jealous with today’s Dry Hopped Sour. This is the grape bubble gum, lime candy Fun-Dip flavors of Thwack Sour Double IPA! And it’s brewed exclusively for the Tavour community.

Like the everlasting gobstopper, it provides the tropical complexity that both Sour fans and IPA hopheads love, truly a great glass elevator between styles. Double dry-hopped with 10 pounds-per-barrel of fruity Mosaic, grapefruity Amarillo, passionfruit-rich Galaxy and citrus-packed Lemondrop Hops, this beer is overflowing with juicy candied tartness. The Oompa Loompas must have worked overtime on this, pairing those fruity hops with a 8% ABV, 10 gallons of Concord grape juice and 5 gallons of lime juice per batch and a THWACK of sour flavor!
