The Painkiller is one of the few cocktails with undisputed origins. The Soggy Dollar Bar invented the blended fruit ‘n coconut cream drink in the 1970s, revitalizing patrons who’d just swam ashore their Caribbean beachfront (they didn’t have a dock). 

Fast forward to today, and Milwaukee’s Eagle Park Brewing is taking the Painkiller to delicious new heights in the form of a Fruited Sour. Their innovative spirit earned them a spot on USA Today’s list of Best New Breweries in the Country just last year! 

Invoking the original cocktail’s refreshing flavors, the brewers crafted Tiki Dave’s Painkiller with real pineapple, coconut, and orange on a Sour Ale base. They even gave its depths a sprinkle of nutmeg for warming notes of island spice. 

While you probably haven’t jumped off a boat and fought through any waves recently, this is a pick-me-up that melts away all kinds of stress. So go ahead, pour yourself a glass and relax into Caribbean-captured bliss.
