The crew nurtured a richly-flavored base of dark roasted malt, oak-smoked wheat, and malted rye, then gave it a timeout in Kentucky bourbon barrels for a year. Growing up gave this lighter-bodied dark beauty a complex character and oaky vanilla charm.

Disappointed as I expected so much more in a BBA anniversary stout. I got a few more bottles so I'm going to let them age a few more years... maybe better then? viscosity low, carbonation high, mouth feel not really there. I'll let age in the bottle a few years and try again...
