About This Beer
The crew nurtured a richly-flavored base of dark roasted malt, oak-smoked wheat, and malted rye, then gave it a timeout in Kentucky bourbon barrels for a year.
Tasting Notes
Growing up gave this dark beauty a complex character and oaky vanilla charm.
Its heavenly nuances of chocolate-covered cherries layered with notes of caramel are like cordial truffles. Meanwhile, the whiskey lends a hint of earthy cinnamon spice and a little booziness to this 14% ABV brew's smooth, dry finish.
