About This Beer
Grimm crafted Tra La La in honor of Bees in the Trappe, their first “honey Tripel” and the second beer they ever brewed back during their nomadic days in 2013.
Tasting Notes
Each sip is deliciously complex waves of sweet florals and earthy spice amid the base beer’s barnyard funk. The mouthfeel is effervescent and piquant, concluding with a balanced citric tartness on the finish.

this is maybe the oddest beer I've ever had. its sweet up front and then becomes bitter and almost dry like a wine. and ends on the taste of the wheat.... very good with a steak dinner

funky, dry, sweet up front. beautiful saison with mild, MILD honey notes. not really sour at all, but a good bit of farmhouse funk. drinks full and clean with the dry finish.

I don’t know wtf buckwheat honey is but it works in this. It starts sweet and ends tart. Great.

This was a hard no go for me. It tasted like an alcoholic potpourri, the flowery taste hung with me long after a drink.

Definitely a sipper. Don’t get too much
honey. Not very bitter though.
