We’ve been hoping to get another stash of Mikkeller San Diego’s Traeblod ever since we tasted its luxurious, maple-drizzled depths. We saw how much you guys loved it, too – you gave this Imperial Stout a rarely-seen 4.67 Tavour score! 

Well, hold onto your hats, because today, we have an even richer variant on Tavour!

It’s called Traeblod Pecan Pie Imperial Stout, and along with maple syrup, the brewers made it pastry-rich with additions of pecans, cinnamon, and coffee. 

And, get this – they aged it in Brandy Barrels! 

To top it all off, the brew clocks in at a stealthy 14% ABV, too. But, good luck noticing the strength between those silky flavors of pie-like decadence, punctuated with the Brandy barrels’ dark fruit and oak notes.
