About This Beer
To craft this treat, the Stout savants at Burial teamed up with friends at Seven Island Brewery located out of Greece.
The duo started with a blend of four different Imperial Stouts for a sumptuously rich base. Then they layered it with white chocolate, dark chocolate, and hazelnut praline. Finally, the crews sprinkled it with cardamom, orange zest, and mahleb — a mediterranean spice made from the pit of St. Lucie cherries with an amaretto-like flavor.
Tasting Notes
Creamy currents of cocoa course through every thick quaff all hinted with citrus. Pastry tones of almond croissant and cherry danish swirl underneath, with Nutella notes hanging on the end. Careful though, it might taste like some fresh baked deliciousness, but it’s hiding a 13% ABV!
