About This Beer
To make it, legendary brewer Kyle Harrop blended Stout aged in Old Rip Van Winkle 10-year bourbon barrels with Stout aged in Elijah Craig 24-year bourbon barrels. And he wrapped it all up in decadence with additions of Alor Island Indonesian vanilla, Ceylon cinnamon, Vermont maple syrup, and wild Thai banana!
Tasting Notes
Each opulent sip is like taking a bite of a banana pancake topped with whipped cream, soaked in syrup, dusted with cinnamon, and covered in chocolate chips. Then chasing that bite with some of the best whiskey you’ve ever had!

Impossibly smooth stout with a thick, velvety mouthfeel and a lovely "banana pancakes and coffee" nose. Flavor initially has an almost minty or menthol cool to it, then becomes banana-forward. There is little hint of the ABV; the flavors are subtle and well-balanced.
The most "luxurious"-feeling stout I've ever drunk.
Downsides: while expertly-crafted, I don't know that I find this as delicious and _enjoyable_ as, say, Founders CBS (or even KBS). And it does not justify the price; I think $40 for this 12 oz bottle would have been more appropriate.
