Thanks to the philosophical crew at Masthead, we’ll never know the answer. They took care to craft their Maple Barrel Tree Blood using real maple syrup and then aged it for 17 months in maple bourbon barrels.
Tasting Notes
Ripples of flapjack-worthy flavor flow through the sip, dosing the malts with sweetness and bolstering the cocoa notes. A barrel bite adds depth to the smooth brew, rolling bold flavors of oaky vanilla and whiskey caramel across your palate.
