I love a fruity Jamba Juice smoothie as much as the next guy, but there’s no way I’m going to wade through crowds of teenagers, glued to their phones in a clusterfuck-of-a-mall just to get one. Today’s Tropical Smoothie IPA from Decadent Ales blends real mangos, strawberries, pineapples, and peaches for a legit Jamba Juice-like experience.

The only difference, this smoothie comes with an adult-size 7.3% ABV.

Decadent could have stopped after adding all that fruit and probably still had themselves quite the smoothie IPA. But these guys are nutso when it comes to in-your-face flavor, so they double dry-hopped Tropical Smoothie with 100% Citra to amp up the real fruit with hoppy notes of gooseberries, lychee, and passionfruit -- BAZANGA!

In this heat there’s no need for a beach or a lake to justify my cravings for a Tropical Smoothie. Sun’s out, fun’s out, bust out the mangos, strawberries, pineapples, and peaches -- it’s time to chill.
