About This Beer
Inspired by the vibrant purple desserts of their QA/QC Manager, Nate’s Filipino heritage, the crew loaded this showstopper with organic ube from Indonesia, coconut from the Philippines, cacao from Peru, and Mostra Coffee's Ghost Bear espresso blend.
Tasting Notes
Notes of earthy ube cookies flow into chocolate-drizzled coconut macaroons with every supple sip. Hints of roasty coffee accentuate the dark malts, playing beautifully against the artisanal Mounds bar character.

Nice purple pour and idea for the beer but it doesn’t hit like a stout, it’s extremely light and tastes mostly of cacao water.

Chocolate, creamy head, hazy purple, coconut macaroon, and ube aromas, toasted coconut, espresso, and ube jam tastes, with a dry cacao finish.

Easily a very memorable, rare one and can most definitely see the faint purple head. The ube was strong up front but mellowed and blended to create a nutty coffee backdrop with creamy coconut undertones.
