About This Beer
The crew at Cerebral blended Imperial Stouts aged in four different barrels — 10 year Rhum Agricole, Balcones Rye Whiskey, Templeton Rye Whiskey and Laird's Apple Brandy! And then they finished the beer on a combination of Comoros and Costa Rican vanilla beans.
Tasting Notes
After tasting the big fudgy flavors and massive barrel character in this Stout, that doesn’t surprise us at all. Every sip is a smorgasbord of whiskey caramel and rich chocolate, with overtones of oaky vanilla.

getting a weird sour after taste.

thick and tons of vanilla bean. not overly sweet and not too bitter from the bean. i love vanilla so this is up my alley, but others thought the vanilla was overwhelming
