About This Beer
To make it, the Icarus crew started with a rich base crafted from Golden Promise, Maris Otter, debittered black Malts, chocolate malts, and rye. Then they finished it on decadent additions of dark chocolate, coconut, Madagascar vanilla beans, and fresh maple syrup from their friends at Red Leaf Hollow Farms.
Tasting Notes
Gorgeous whipped cream-topped mocha notes sing through the sip, with lip-smacking molasses and rye spice nuances accentuating the sweetness. Coconut adds ripples of tropicality, while a roasty malty backbone holds the whole thing together.

missing the coconut. it was good not great. would definitely drink it again but would hope for more from the flavor blend.

Mouthfeel is thick and slick. Mostly all maple on the palate with the typical bitterness of the style. Can’t find the coconut and vanilla here though.
