The only tricky part about enjoying Hazy IPAs from Imagine Nation Brewing is actually getting them out of Montana. Fans in Missoula descend upon the riverside taproom for every release, and they show up thirsty.

We were able to sneak out just 15 cases of Unified Field DDH W.E. Coast Double IPA before they drank it all up! Even trekking out to Big Sky Country won’t get you cans of this stuff — it’s already sold out at the taproom!

Open the can, and you’d better be prepared for some serious hop aromas. The brewers double dry hopped it with more than 6 lbs per barrel of Galaxy, Citra, Citra Cryo, Mosaic, Mosaic Cryo, and Columbus.

If you’re lucky enough to get a taste, you’ll find it loaded with tangy citrus flavors of mandarin orange, bright lemon, and nuances of ripe berries. The hazy body is soft as a cloud, and it drinks light and smooth for all-day refreshment. 

If you’re ever in Missoula, by all means hang out on Imagine Nation’s patio and sip their awesome IPAs as you gaze upon the Clark Fork River. Until then, you can snag a pint or two of Unified Field DDH and enjoy it with whatever view happens to be in front of you!
