Okay, it’s possible that I made that quote up, but the point stands: a lot of folks think Cream Ales are creamy, but they’re actually light, chuggable, sunny day sippers. The style was originally created (right here in the U.S.) to compete with European Lagers!

Which makes Utility a fitting name for today’s beer — this stuff has all your crisp, refreshing, easy-drinking beer needs filled!

Tasting Notes

You’ll find some slightly sweet and malty notes on the front end, like cornbread with a drizzle of honey. A touch of floral hops appears midway through the sip, and it all leads to a crisp, clean finish that practically begs for another sip.

solid solid everyday type of beer. pairs well with food esp spicy food. clean crisp mouthfeel and slight bitter finish that really wakes up the beer.

A delicious and easy drinking cream ale specimen. I would grab more if I ever saw it without thinking twice. It pours pale gold with a fine head and light waves of bubbles. A refreshing taste without complexity, lightly malty. Not very sweet by comparison, but I like that.
