A Note on This Beer
A Knight, a Samurai, and a Viking walk into a bar.
The Knight orders an Ale, the Samurai orders a sake, and the Viking orders today’s Valhalla Imperial Stout.
Their drinks arrive, but each has a fly in it.
The Samurai, outraged, orders another sake.
The Knight pulls out the fly and drinks his Ale.
The Viking pulls out the fly, holds it up to his face, and yells, “You little sh*t, that’s my Valhalla — spit it out now!”
Okay, all jokes aside, we’re totally Team Viking on this one — with a 4.17 UT-rating, Valhalla is a Dark Beer treat from Indiana’s Four Fathers Brewing that’s worth savoring every last drop!
The Indiana Brewers Cup Award-winners at Four Fathers have been blowing up the Midwest craft scene for the last 5 years with their big and bold brews, so when we heard about today’s treat, we knew we had to snatch some for all our Stout-drinking Viking friends out there!
Brewed with creamy lactose, sticky honey, sweet vanilla beans, chocolatey cacao nibs, and a healthy helping of toasted coconut, Valhalla oozes pastry-like decadence. Boasting a sippably smooth body, it goes down in creamy swirls of chocolate and vanilla sweetness. Each drink finishes like a rich cake with the big 11.3% ABV cloaked in sprinkles of coconut and honey-drizzle.
When you bring some Valhalla to the party, every Dark Beer fan on the block battle charge you to get a taste. Which means you have two options:
#1: Be like the Viking and vigorously defend what’s yours, or
#2: Tell them our joke and try to sneak out the back while everyone’s busy laughing.
Whichever way you decide to go, we recommend grabbing an extra bottle of Valhalla to leave locked away at home. Because unless you’re planning a trip out to Indiana, today is your only chance to load up on this sweet-treat sipper.
And that’s no joke!
