About This Beer
Some things are popular for a reason. Take vanilla, for example. This sweet and creamy bean has long been the best selling flavor of ice cream because frankly, it’s delicious. So when I saw that the Dark Beer experts at Hubbard’s Cave crafted an Imperial Stout featuring this tried and true flavor, I got unreasonably excited.
Tasting Notes
The ultra-smooth sip carries bold notes of roasty and chocolatey malt alongside swirls of sumptuously sweet vanilla. It’s like drinking an extra boozy sundae from your favorite ice cream parlor!

A tad bit too heavy-sweet for me (as opposed to “bright” sweetness like you get from dairy-free candy) but overall tasty and lives up to the vanilla profile.

Very tasty vanilla nose and taste at the top. Stout base has good chocolate malts and almost makes an upside down sundae.

Thick, luscious mouth feel on this dark beer with plenty of vanilla but not overtly
sweet and it won’t weigh you down!

Deep flavor and 12% ABV packs a punch. Tasted like a vanilla / coffee dessert

Not my style of Stout. Got a little better as it warmed up.

Big boozy aroma and flavor with lots of vanilla and chocolate character. Leans a bit sweet.
