About This Beer
A “leaner” is a peach so ripe, you have to tip your body forward when you bite into it just to keep the juice from dribbling down your shirt. And those are exactly the kind of succulent stone fruit Casey and Side Project used for today’s brew!
The duo fermented and matured this Farmhouse Ale slowly in oak barrels, using yeast cultures from both breweries. Then they aged it on fresh, whole, organic peaches from their favorite growers before finishing it all with vanilla beans.
Tasting Notes
The multiple cultures make for extra complexity, revealing tangy hints of lemon, hay, and mellow oak on top of ripe orchard fruit. The silky ‘nilla adds a creamy flourish to the tart sip, before it all culminates in a dry finish.
