About This Beer
Fonta Flora crafted this 4.33 UT-rated Barleywine on a base of local barley and top-quality caramel and crystal malts fermented with their house-blend Ale yeast. Fragrant vanilla beans and more than a year of aging in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels layered additional complexity into the full-bodied brew.
Tasting Notes
Each rich pour delights with sticky notes of caramel, date, and raisin within a silky body. Bourbon barrel nuances blend seamlessly into each creamy, vanilla-infused sip. And the brewers got the balance just right — Vanilla Periodic Motion is super easy drinking, even with its boozy 12% ABV.

Tasty dessert brew! Medium BW body, light booze, aromas are nirvana! Taste/palate not quite up to the promises of the aroma, but this is still very enjoyable!

4.2 at best. Taste: Thin with some heat coming through as it’s cold. Not really getting too much vanilla yet it’s presence is there to combat any harshness in taste. Smell? Not really getting much of anything.
