When Stone does a N.E. style tiki juice-bomb, expect it to come with a kick: Their new unfiltered Vengeful Spirit IPA carries a tidal wave sized 7.3% ABV.

In Vengeful Spirit they go full mai-tai -- this cloudy tropic-cabana is brewed with tangy pineapples and sweet-tart mandarin oranges that elevate the exotic fruit filled flavors freshly squeezed from a trio of Mosiac, Loral, and Mandarina Bavaria Hops.

This tropical luau is brewed by Stone, so yeah, even with its N.E. style pillow-soft mouthfeel -- dank resinous flavors storm-in as aggressive as a hurricane(the cocktail or the natural disaster, take your pick). First aromas of lemon-citrus and dark fruit crash your nose with powerful waves. Then tangerine, papaya, and orange-pineapple flood the palate. It’s almost too much fruit, but this is Stone, and there’s no such thing as too much anything with them. After the storm, this tiki hop-bomb calms in the finish with Hawaiian floral essence.

This IPA should probably be served in a giant scorpion bowl or a flaming volcano, a tiki glass topped with a pink umbrella doesn’t even begin to do it justice.
