About This Beer
If you currently have a toddler, today’s beer could be their 21st birthday present. Seriously — River North designed Vicennial: God Complex to age for up to two FULL decades.
In all honesty, I’d have to bury my bottle in my backyard to even have a chance of keeping this 18.7% ABV monster that long without indulging.
But the reality is, this Barrel Aged Quadrupel Ale will only get smoother and more nuanced with time. Which is hard to grasp considering it’s already incredibly delicious as is.
Tasting Notes
This dark pour enrobes the palate with avalanches of rich dates, smooth chocolate, silky vanilla, and a hint of sweet banana. The finish reverberates with echoes of luscious stone fruit, lingering long after the sip.

A bit of a bite to it, 17.8 ABV. Can be aged for two decades, I think 2-3 years should be good. Booziness overpowers flavors at the moment. Have 2 more and will let them mature.
