A Note on This Beer

Cellar beer collectors. High-ABV aficionados. Dark beer fans everywhere — you better sit down.

The first Vicennial release since 2019 is here, and it’s bigger than ever!

River North’s Vicennial series is some of their most beloved stuff. And The Last Guardian is a brand new addition to the mix!

For the first time ever in the Vicennial series, River North presents this Abbey-style Golden Ale, fresh from bourbon barrels. And with an impressive 18.9% ABV, it's built to sip slowly. You know, to give the new addition your time and attention!

A wash of deep, rich stone fruits mix with vanilla and creme fraiche. The desserts blend with light tinges of whiskey and oak, creating a complex sip with a satisfying warmth on the finish.

Better hurry -- once The Last Guardian is gone, it won't be back for AT LEAST another 2 years!

Tavour strictly supports independent beer. River North Brewery is certified independent by the Brewers Association

BBA Belgian Strong Golden Ale with 18.9% frequency. Surprisingly not a boogie! Rather, it has a completely mild bourbon taste. good. Vanilla, oak, candy apples, flowers, and a little melon-like feeling. And get drunk. This kind of liquor ... I really like it. Euphoria. Hmmm. delicious. Frequency is justice. It's too heavy for the cup to go on at all, but it's not very stimulating, so I don't think I'll get tired of drinking it. If the temperature rises, it will probably give you a feeling of raisins. How to get a bourbon barrel that feels quite Necessary Evil. I really like the guy who hits me with this kind of sake power. Oops chocolate came out. It feels like a freshly baked chocolate croissant. Maro. Aside from the deliciousness and badness, the high-alcohol liquor whose barrel feeling is in harmony with the liquid is delicious. Moreover, my head is fluffy! The strongest! !! (Stop)

Fantastically smooth for the high ABV, and take your time. It's a slow sipper that gets better as it goes.
