About This Beer
To craft this showstopper, the Alesong legends teamed up with friends at Deschutes. The duo started by co-fermenting a sumptuous Imperial Milk Stout base with Merlot grapes. Then they aged it in a combination of whiskey and French oak barrels that previously held Deschutes beloved Abyss Stout.
Tasting Notes
Anticipate decadent nuances of dark chocolate, dried plum, and dusky blackberry to course through every quaff. Hints of bourbon-soaked creme brûlée should melt into wisps of tannic vanilla oak, further obscuring the 11.9% ABV.

Chocolate covered raisins! Very unique beer with plenty of rich flavors. Chocolate backbone with dark berry, oak, whiskey on the finish. Yum

Merlot is almost undetectable. Overall, it's a bit too sweet. A tasty BBA Stout other than that!
