A Note on This Beer
— URGENT TAVOUR WEATHER NOTICE —
The meteorological Sour Ale experts at Seattle’s Urban Family are advising locals to prep for a terrific downpour of blackberries and grapefruit.
The Sour storm system known as Violet Tempest is making its way across the Pacific Northwest, and it is HUGE.
Brewed with a torrent of real blackberries and a lightning strike of grapefruit zest, Violet Tempest promises one raucous rainstorm of mouth-puckering juice!
This isn’t the first time PNW craft fans have been drenched in its deluge of sweet-tart blackberry juice, either. Just last year, Violet Tempest converged on the scene and was awarded a Bronze Medal as one of Sip Northwest’s Best of the Northwest!
Since then, Sour storm chasers in Seattle are apt to witness this flavorful phenom in action — @Stephanie G. on Untappd calls the berry-blasted cloudburst a “lovely punch to the salivary glands.”
And others, like @Colin B., are reported as saying that Violet Tempest is “the most drinkable Sour I’ve ever tried!”
As temperatures continue to rise moving into the summer months, you’ll need to be stocked up on thirst-quenching brews — and Violet Tempest is one that’s sure to bring the thunder.
