A Note on This Beer
Cincinnati has tons of nicknames:
Cincy, the Queen City. The ‘Nati. Nasty Natti. Porkopolis. Baseball Town. The City Where I Lost My Car Keys in 2013...
But forget ‘em all. It’s time for a much more appropriate name — Fruit Beer, USA!
Because when it comes to Fruit Beer, few contend with Cincinnati’s Urban Artifact. These U.S. Open Beer Championship Medalists craft highly-limited brews with literal tons of fruit!
Like today’s Vocoder Apricot Blackberry. It’s packed to the brim with a whopping 1,600 lbs of apricots and 1,200 lbs of blackberries, and backed with whole vanilla beans!
Huge fruit aromas greet you on the nose, while berries n' cream sippability keeps you diving back in. It’s like a fruit tart in a can!
And of course it is, because not only is Urban Artifact responsible for some of the top-ranked Fruit Beers on Untappd, they’re the driving force behind the rising Midwest Fruit Tart Ale style.
But even craft fans in Cincy can’t get Vocoder at the store. It’s a taproom-only release!
Unless you’re on Tavour, of course.
The beer is too new for ratings!
Tavour strictly supports independent beer. Urban Artifact is certified independent by the Brewers Association
