I entered a cake-eating contest once, when I was sixteen. I fought hard and ate my way through seven cakes in three mins, but ended up in 2nd place. 

Since then, I’ve always wanted redemption. I’ve never heard of a cake-drinking contest. But after indulging in today’s Imperial Pastry Porter — crafted to taste like vanilla cream-filled chocolate cake, covered with marshmallows and coconut — I’m ready for one!

This brew isn’t for cake newbies. It packs an extra-thick body the brewers built with specialty malts, and they are backed by a whopping 12% ABV. It goes down way too easily for being this boozy, so you might want to drink it sitting down!

They created these exotic cake-like flavors using coconut from Indonesia, vanilla from Papua New Guinea, and cocoa nibs from Uganda!

If you think you can compete in this dual of gulping down divine desserts, then I’d bring your A-game. I’m practicing on as many cans of this tiny stash as I can guzzle before Tavour members snatch them all up.
