About This Beer

The world-renowned monk Thich Nhat Hanh said, “Enlightenment is when the wave realizes it is the ocean.” I don’t know about you, but I feel far more enlightened after just one taste of Wavelengths from Montana’s Imagine Nation.

Every sip feels like diving into an ocean of tropical juice, thanks to 7 lbs per barrel of Galaxy, Azacca, Citra, and Citra Cryo Hops! Then the brewers took things to the next level with a carefully considered dose of real papaya and a touch of lactose for an ice cream finish.

Tasting Notes

It really is like slurping a mango-papaya milkshake, with hints of pineapple and peach glittering on the periphery. A very slight pithiness helps balance all the fruity flavors for a brew that’s easy drinking and silky smooth from beginning to end. You won’t even notice the 7.5% ABV swimming around in this thick-bodied IIPA.

very solid milkshake ipa. it’s very smooth with some light hoppy bitterness and just enough fruit flavor to balance it out. i think it could’ve been a tad bit sweeter though.

Do I know what papaya tastes like? Not sure. Do I know what a DIPA tastes like? Yes. This is that. With Lactose. Has. A bit of zing at the end to keep you guessing as well.
