When I caught wind that we snagged the flagship brew Waves NEIPA from our brand-new partners at Goodfire Brewing, I dropped everything to grab a sip.

Was I in the middle of meeting my brand new rescue puppy? Yes. Did I leave him with my wife to pour myself a glass? Also, yes. 

What can I say? I was psyched to become one of the first craft fans outside of Maine to try this delectable, citrus-soaked sipper! And, let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint. 

With each sumptuous sip, swells of ripe mango and sweet chardonnay swirl with lush layers of pithy grapefruit flavor — ALL from the 4.5 lbs per barrel of Vic Secret and Mosaic Hops. The mouthfeel? Softer than my new puppy's silky ears. 

It tastes like a pineapple and mango Sangria, topped with some muddled pine and lime zest. 

So, don’t get me wrong! I’m not saying you have to stop petting a puppy to give Goodfire a try. But, we do only have 20 cases to share. Don’t be disappointed if this batch of tropical-goodness bounces off the app in a blink of those deep brown pup eyes!
