About This Beer
Nightfall is a special time. When work is a distant memory and the kids are off to dreamland, I can finally turn the volume down on the day and lose myself in Waves of Silence.
I’m talking about beer, of course! Fittingly, Fort George named this version of their Stout series Gangplank — having crafted one stunning brew to bridge the gap between the daily grind and waves of flavor!
Tasting Notes
A roasty nose of cocoa powder wafts from the dark pour, reverberating throughout the sip. A biscuity malt backbone grounds the shimmering accent of cinnamon and rolls it into gentle tones of espresso — like a Mexican chocolate nightcap.
As the final lingering note of spice tickles your palate and slowly fades away, you’ll feel your stress melt into the pleasant buzz of a 9% ABV.
