A Note on This Beer
Dust off your tulip glasses because the GABF Gold Medalists at Oregon’s Block 15 are gracing us with one of Tavour’s first Belgian Pale Ales of the year!
If you’ve never had one, you aren’t alone — Belgian Pales are still a rare and developing style.
It’s one of those “best of both worlds” beers. For Block 15’s Wellspring, the brewers lightly dry-hop for delicate stonefruitiness before conditioning it on Brett for a complex funk.
Its bold 6.5% ABV is much higher than your average Pale too. And after downing a couple of these, you'll feel it, as well.
If you’ve never tried a Belgian Pale Ale, let these Gold Medalists be your guide. And, if you have tried one, we bet it’s been far too long since your last taste. Heck, after drinking this delicious brew, even a day feels like too long to wait for another!
