A Note on This Beer
Head east from Seattle through the forested foothills of the Cascades, snake between the snow-capped peaks of the high mountains, and you’ll soon end up at Snoqualmie Pass.
This is where you’ll find Dru Bru — a true mountain brewery nestled at the base of the ski lifts. It’s the watering hole of choice for thirsty snow shredders in the winter, overheated hikers in the summer, and mountain lovers all year round!
Once there, you can find yourself a spot on the deck, marvel at the craggy summits that rise all around you, and order a pint of today’s Whiskey Sticke Alt.
This barrel-aged Altbier features big flavors of toffee and dried fruit, cascading like a mountain stream through waterfalls of whiskey and oaky vanilla, thanks to nearly a year in a blend of Maker’s Mark and Basil Hayden barrels. The big 9.5% ABV will keep you warm, even in the cool mountain air.
Of course, it might be a while before you can make it to the brewery, and by then, this limited edition brew will be all sold out. Fortunately, you can snag a sip here, and use it to accentuate the views wherever you are.
Your backyard might not be a mountain wonderland, but even your patio will look a little more magical when you sip this brew.
