It sounds like the classic opener to a bad joke, but that’s actually how the folks at Legal Remedy got their start! After winning a homebrew competition, this eclectic group of professionals opened their own space and started serving up justice… in a can!

To give you a proper taste for the litigious brewery’s expertise, we managed to snag today’s World Court Mocha Blonde Stout. The golden pour is their flagship brew, and it has craft fans raving! Just look at what they’re saying:

I've had other blonde coffee stouts and white chocolate beers but never together. Great combo.

This has a synthetic, chemical aftertaste. It’s not among the worst blonde stouts, but it’s definitely not among the best, either. No lactose means it lacks a stout-like mouthfeel, so it’s really just chocolate-coffee blonde ale.

The coffee echo hits the nose first followed by the sweetness of the white chocolate that finishes smooth. Overall this is a delicious and well worth it brew

Holy shit this was good! Great coffee tones but not overpowering - still a light blonde mouth. Subtle chocolate finish.

That white chocolate though! All encompassing, front back side to side and nose. Bit of coffee intermixed. Slight bitter back end that dissipates quickly.

This is absolutely delicious!! Like buying chocolate milk from the store or a mocha from a coffee shop! Fantastic. So much flavor but not as thick and rich as a regular stout.

Reading the ecstatic reviews of some, I feel like I missed out. It was enjoyable, but didn’t give me chills or anything. Can’t recall more details, just my reaction, as it was a while back. Still - maybe it needs another try, and I’d definitely be up for that.

If you give this beer to someone already poured, they would never guess this was a stout… little do they know that they’re about to taste one deliciously smooth stout! This beer was so smooth and the aftertaste was so good! I would definitely have this beer again!
