About This Beer
The crew at Mikerphone started by blending some of their finest beers into a thick and boozy 16.9% ABV base. Then they aged the brew for 22 months in wheat whiskey barrels from Journeymen Distillery before transferring it into Armagnac barrels for an additional 10 months!
Tasting Notes
Big barrel aromas kick things off, with hints of plum and candied date sweeping across the tastebuds from the moment you take a sip. Vinous brandy notes rock and roll through the finish, with lingering nuances of oak riding across the tastebuds long after the sip.
