Maybe some “sour” on the finish? Very sweet up front and SUPER thick. Not quite what I was expecting… definitely more smoothie than sour. Doesn’t mean it was a bad beer though. Was tough to get through an entire can just because of the heaviness. Glad I got a couple cans, will be interesting to see what others say when I crack the second one. Definitely want to share that to get some more opinions.

shockingly and I mean SHOCKINGLY thick. Tastes great but this is not a sour ale. this “beer” is a fermented smoothie. Taste-wise it’s great, but this is an alcoholic carbonated smoothie

this is like drinking pudding.... delicious pudding. well, maybe not THAT thick, but you get the idea. more like the consistancy of a milkshake. very tasty overall.

One of the best sour ales I’ve ever had. its hardly even sour which isn’t a bad thing its incredibly sweet and super THICC and creamy. Cant wait to buy more

honestly did not expect this, although I’m not sure what I expected from a sarsaparilla influenced beer. very thick and heavy with fruit bomb, a bit on the sweet end, but really tasty. grratsasarsaparilla

Total surprise how this had a thick & creamy smoothie consistency. The taste was amazing!

Absolutely Delicious, creamy and just a really nice flavor of every piece of fruit added. This is a must if they get in another batch.

A very weird beer. Tasted unique but not quite in a good way

This is a crazy interesting beer that is like a desert smoothy with a hint of beer bubbles. Its a great beer to try if you can find it. Its actually really good and tasty. The fruit is on full display with a subtle finish of vanilla and sarsaparilla.

So much more than I was expecting!! So thick I had to coax it out of the can like a Heinz 57 bottle. Very banana-y. LOVE! Reminiscent of a banana popsicle, with just the slightest hint of rootbeer-ness. It has a hidden mouth-feel fizz to it, but did not foam. Tastes like a tropical smoothie! Not really sour at all. The lactose really smooths it out and the sarsaparilla offers a subtle bite. I would stock the fridge with this one!

The aroma reminds me of banana custard, with a body equally as sweet and viscous. There’s a subtle bite of sarsaparilla in the finish, blended into a daiquiri or pina colada. It’s undeniably bizarre, but perfect for lovers of root beer.

yuck. foul. sickly sweet. fermented foulness. I could not finish it. will never try again .don't know why I even did. alcoholic soda flavors particularly root beer is not my thing at all
