A Note on This Beer
Practically the only time today’s Zonker Stout leaves Wyoming is with Tavour. In fact, this is one of the beers that inspired us to create Tavour in the first place, because once we tried this roasty treat we knew our fellow craft fans needed a taste, too.
We still get tons of requests for Zonker, so we’re bringing this 4.17 BA-rated brew back for another run! If you haven’t tried this fan favorite, here’s your chance to taste the beer that Stout lovers can’t get enough of. Yes, we’re including ourselves in that camp.
This epic Stout from Jackson Hole’s Snake River Brewing has won more medals than there are ranches in Wyoming. We’re talking 6 from GABF, 6 from North American Brewer’s Fest, and 4 from World Beer Cup. This thing’s got more medals than Mark Spitz!
Zonker is an intensely roasty, 6% ABV sip of malty smoothness. Huge additions of dark-roasted barley balance beautifully against chocolate and caramel malts, creating alternating layers of bitter and sweet that dance across the palate. But even with all that bold flavor this Stout is still ultra-smooth and all day crushable.
If history is any indication, Zonker is going to sell out quick, and we’ll be answering a slough of emails begging for more. Anyone looking to try this 16-time medalist better jump on it quick, before it all gets snapped up.
