About This Beer

The first time I encountered an ambrosia salad, I thought it was a joke. How are you gonna tell me that tangerines, cherries, pineapples, coconut, and freakin’ marshmallows are a SALAD!? But, in fact, it is real — REALLY delicious that is! That’s why the legendary crew at Westbrook and Angry Chair took this unique side dish and turned it into a Fruited Sour!

Tasting Notes

Every sip pops with tangy orange citrus, dark cherries, and soft pineapple all rolled in a luscious body made extra creamy thanks to a dose of milk sugar. It’s like an ambrosia salad that went through the blender — but with booze!

I really enjoyed the cherry and coconut flavors and was plenty surprised that all of these flavors went well together. I love the color and the name is very clever. Westbrook is a pretty good brewery and I will buy from them again.

Low abv, not boozey at all.. Feels like straight juice. Can definitely slam more than one of these. Note: not sure how much cherry is in this but it doesn't have that artificial taste like some do.

This was very tasty. Not super thick so it was very refreshing after my mountain bike ride today. The tangerine, pineapple, and marshmallow came through more than the cherry and coconut did. Well done Westbrook and Angry Chair!

Pours with a cloudy red color, not much foam. Smells like pineapple, coconut, and citrus fruits. Has a bubbly but thick feel. Very tart and sour at first, but gives way to a lovely juicy sweetness with cherry, pineapple, coconut and more - spot on for an ambrosia!
