Before earning a spot as one of BeerAdvocate’s Best Breweries in the Country back in 2008, Great Divide started small. So small, in fact, that founder Brian Dunn was the only employee. And the guy did it all — brewing, bottling, and selling to distributors, sometimes all in the same day! A lot has changed for Great Divide since they first opened in 1994. Denver locals love their beers so much — including the inky-black Yeti Imperial Stout and the hoppy Titan IPA — that by the fall of 2019, the brewery was forced to expand to 2 new locations across the Denver area! With a variety of styles intended to please their myriad of fans — like Hibernation Ale, Colette Farmhouse Saison, and Claymore Scotch Ale — we expect their fanbase will extend far beyond the Colorado border in years to come!
