The upstate NY brewery is best known for their rich dessert beers. Their Pumpking Imperial Ale and Warlock Imperial Pumpkin Stout appear on numerous best Pumpkin Beers lists, including on Beer Connoisseur and Draft Magazine. Beyond ruling the Halloween brew scene, Southern Tier puts out sought-after Dark Beers year ‘round, including Crème Brûlée Imperial Milk Stout and Choklat Imperial Stout. The brewery isn’t Dark Beer or Dessert Beer exclusive, by any means. Their 2XIPA is an East Coast favorite among hopheads with an affinity for resinous hop intensity.
