A Note on This Beer
Wild Leap launched their Alpha Abstraction series with one goal in mind — create an IPA that tastes as close to fruit juice as possible, without using any actual fruit or juice.
Well, they bill today’s Alpha Abstraction Vol. 12 as having some of the biggest, juiciest citrus flavors yet in the popular series!
It’s all thanks to the hops. The brewers double dry-hop it with Belma for big bursts of lemon, grapefruit and tangerine. If you’ve tasted any of the previous Alpha Abstractions, you know that these citrus flavors are a calling card of each brew. But in Vol. 12, they really shine — fresh-squeezed, front and center!
And, it’s not just citrus that Wild Leap manages to coax out of the hops. Let each sip linger on your tongue, and you’ll note undertones of melon and strawberry. But, be cautious — the refreshing, berry-lemonade flavors mask an 8% ABV!
Make sure you grab your cans, quick. Each Alpha Abstraction release is a one-off, and Tavour’s the only way to get them outside of Georgia.
