A Note on This Beer
When Logsdon’s Peche ‘n Brett was introduced to Tavour last year, every bottle was snatched up in less than 24 hours.
Of course they were!
This beer has a World Beer Cup Gold Medal and a near-perfect 99/100 BeerAdvocate rating, and Tavour’s the only way to get it outside of Washington and Oregon. That, or make a wish with a beer genie and hope for the best.
But get those clicking fingers ready, because Logsdon’s upped the ante even more with today’s limited new version of Peche ‘n Brett.
This time around, those Farmhouse brew sorcerers swapped out the stainless-steel fermenters for French Oak barrels and lengthened the brew’s aging to a full year.
The result? A 7.5% ABV Fruited Sour with more pronounced tartness and bright gushes of peach juice than its lightly fruited Brett predecessor!
Which makes its name, APB: Another Peach Beer, rather tongue-in-cheek.
With 1.8 lbs of real Hood River Valley peaches per barrel and big oak overtures between even bigger fruit flavors, this sure ain’t like every other peach beer on the market.
Show this baby off at a bottleshare and you’ll be heralded for actually having a beer genie up your sleeve. APB is so new that most PNW craft drinkers haven’t even gotten access yet!
This beer is too new for ratings!
