About This Beer
The crew began with a rich, chocolatey Imperial Stout matured in bourbon barrels for 26 months. They added a ribbon of lactose for an extra silky feel, then conditioned it on toasted almonds, marshmallows, and Madagascar vanilla.
Tasting Notes
Pour a glass, and you can look forward to amaretto and dark chocolate aromas. On the sip, expect creamy nuances of Rocky Road ice cream amped up with bourbon caramel. Hints of oaky vanilla and nutty toastiness ought to round it out for an irresistible dessert brew.

Very boozy... Which I like!
Very viscous.... Which I like!
Just the right amount of barrel - it's definitely there, but not overpowering. I also like it for its simplicity. The only one flavor, which is almonds might be subjective by others as to whether it taste like almonds or not. But the bigger picture really is this: it's not a watered blended down hodgepodge of flavors. Whatever flavor you are tasting when you drink this, it doesn't matter. It tastes amazing, feels amazing, looks amazing and is downright respectable. Would definitely buy again.
