About This Beer

To craft this stunner, the Equilibrium crew got together with Danish brewing legend Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø and the team at Evil Twin NYC. They aged a sumptuous base in two Handy rye barrels for 32 months, letting it enjoy some hygge time of its own, cozily soaking up nuances of bourbon, caramel, and spice. Then the duo conditioned the brew on macadamia nuts, honey, and marshmallow for a confectionary flavor fit for a comfortable night in.

Tasting Notes

Every decadent quaff cascades with nuances of sweet nut brittle and hot cocoa brimming with pillowy mallows. Whoopie pie tones lead into complexities of warming baking spice and vanilla oak on the finish, none of it giving away the bold 18% ABV.

Excellent. Thick pour, great adjuncts that come through as it warms. Hides the ABV well. So good!
